Share your history

The Chinese Memory Archive welcomes first-hand recollections of life in China, especially from those aged 70 or older. Letters, photographs, memoirs, and diary entries are also deeply valued whether or not an interview is involved. If you or someone you know has a story to share, we’d be honored to include it.

Donate

The Chinese Memory Archive is made possible by people who believe these stories matter. Recording, preserving, translating, and sharing long-form first-person history takes time, care, and technology—and your support helps make it happen. We’ve applied for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status, and we expect approval in 2026. When that happens, donations will be tax-deductible.
